Before installing a plugin you must make sure that you have successfully installed WordPress. Then you log in to your WordPress.

In general, there are three ways to install WordPress plugins.

  2. By Uploading
  3. Manually

By Searching

This is the easiest way to install the plugin. Most people use this method to customize a website.

First, log in to the WordPress admin panel, which is called the WordPress Dashboard.

Second, click on Plugin »Add New from the left side.

Third, now search for the plugin in the SARS box on the right . It is very important that the spelling is correct to find the plugin you are expecting. So pay attention to the spelling.

Finally, click on the “ Install Now ” button to get the plugin you expectedAfter that, it will start installing.

After a short while, your expected plugin will be successfully installed. Now, you get a button called “ Active ”. Click here to activate the plugin.

You must be active to use this plugin. Note that it cannot be used without Plugin Active.

If you want, you can also activate in this way – Plugins » Install Installed Plugins.

Now click on the “ Active ” button below the plugin. The plugin will be activated immediately, and you will receive a notification that the plugin has been activated.

You can disable the plugin by clicking ” Deactivate ” below the plugin name. However, deactivated does not mean that the plugin has been deactivated.

Deactivated means the plugin will be on your dashboard. But it won’t work. But later you can delete or reactivate if you want.

By Uploading

There are some plugins that you cannot install directly. They are the most premium plugins. Plugins purchased with money are premium plugins.

You will be given a “zip” file to upload these. Which can be uploaded and installed to the plugin.

To upload the zip file, enter Plugins »Add New as before.

Then, click on the “ Upload Plugin ” button at the top of the screen.image

Now select your plugin file from your computer and click on the “ Install Now ” button.

Then click on the “ Active ” button to activate the plugin. Finally, you will see a notice like below.

In this process, the plugin can be downloaded and installed from the official WordPress site .

Manually

Sometimes two methods may not work for any problem. At this point, you can use the manual process.

You need to download the plugin (“zip” format) to manually install the plugin. So, go to the official website of WordPress and download the plugin you want to install.

First, log in to your cPanel and go to File Manager.

Second, go to the location where you installed WordPress. And find the wp-content » Plugins folder or path.image

Finally, upload the zip file here. But yes, do not edit or delete any file here.

Now, go back to your WordPress dashboard and open the Plugins window. You can see that your expected plugin has been installed.

You can also install plugins using the FTP method. In this case the process will be the same.
